Lenny took quite a few pictures of a tug called Kraken. I wonder at how it came to be called a name with strong ties to mythical sea creatures. I suppose the little guy must have packed a punch. Been known for its strength, a bit intimidating in its sharp hornet-like color. Were Krakens depicted as yellow? I do know that they were said to be slick, swift creatures. I have so many questions. A big one is: where are Kraken the Tug’s Tentacles?

Either way, Kraken remains one of my favorite tugs and I find it ironic that I was wearing a Kraken-yellow waffle thermal shirt when I first met her.
