More Twitter Tribulations

Okay, so since Lenny’s friend admitted that in her message that she probably can’t help much regarding Jan Stacy and since I had not heard word from Mr. Claiborne since sending my snail mail, I decided to take a deep breath and to click on the Twitter icon on my phone. I kind of thought that I wished I could do so with my eye closed, based on my last Twitter experience (ughh). OG - who is actually also not big on social media -had informed me that I could “direct message” people via Twitter and so I resolved to do so as yet another means of trying to connect with Mr. Claiborne. I tapped around in search of the feature and eventually found it - an envelope symbol. I clicked on it, entered the twitter handle into the search box and there were no search results! But a regular search on the main page revealed his twitter handle (?). After tapping myself dizzy, I stomped down into the basement and launched a complaint: “Babe, it isn’t working. Why can’t I get it to work?” Response: Oh, maybe he is not set up to receive direct messages. We both spent a few minutes tinkering with the app. Conclusion: He is not set up to receive direct messages.

And so I went directly to bed, after unsuccessfully attempting to uninstall the pesky bird from my phone.
