Second (or Third?) Pass…

So the Introductory Chapter is solid. All images accounted for. I even added a 6th photo - I couldn’t resist. It’s a good one. Chapter One bothered me, as there was only photo missing. To the aching voice of Vespa singing, “Congratulations”, I sought that one image among the 1600 or so remaining digitized slides. I am not sure why I felt the urge to listen to Vespa. I suppose she is one of those little known artists that I know about because of Lenny and I often remember the track. (Actually, after glancing at the YouTube link I provided above, that song has actually been played over 2 million times so I stand corrected regarding her renown!). I found myself singing along during the second loop. Was starting to get into the emotion of the heartbreak and it seemed to be warping into a different feeling. And as the track ended, I ended up finding the image - #400.

Pushed on by that success, I moved to Chapter Two. I switched to more upbeat music that reminded me of Lenny: Herb Alpert Presents: Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66. It was 10:01AM and I probably should have quit while I was ahead but the music kept me going. I was able to find one image and strong/acceptable alternates for the other ones. Intro, One & Two: done.

Am calling it a day. Will resume tomorrow and tackle Chapter Three, which has the most missing images.
