Downtime with Norah

Today was a tough school day for everyone (save OG) in the household. In keeping with my decision from last night, I did not work on the photo book proposal.

I put Norah Jones on the player and got to work on finding the corresponding slides for each chapter of New York Tugs. by no means did I get to finish but it just felt good to organize things and to re-re-re-review the images. Some of the slides seem fairly dusty so that is a bit of a concern. And I am too nervous to attempt to clean them myself, as even if I got the right equipment, I would worry about mistakenly ruining a slide somehow. No - I feel as though I will leave that to the experts, when the time comes. The best I can do for now is to storage the slides properly.

And so on a day when we could, according to my son, “walk through clouds”, I catalogued Lenny’s slides to the smooth, soothing, rolling sounds of Norah Jones.
