First Pass at Photo Book Proposal: Complete.

Done. All slides are done. I did a brief read-through and managed to do a little bit of editing. I can already tell that I will need to be even more succinct. As much as I fear it, I need another set of eyes to look things over. I have nominated OG, of course.

I also feel that the photo I chose may not be the right one. I feel like I am not in the best position to choose any samples. But I do feel that one image is enough but also may not be enough. I think one shot of a tugboat and another of one of the workers would be best. So tomorrow, I will select one action shot — perhaps one that did not make the cut so that I am not revealing too much. I want folks to see Lenny’s artistry, the abstract as well as the real. I’ll sleep on it.

But I’m actually surprised that I completed a full draft of the slides. And I still got to watch the first episode of Season 3 of National Geographic’s “Genius” series, which focuses on Aretha Franklin. Genius doesn’t begin to describe her…
