As Young Skywalker Would Say: “What a piece of junk!”
The $69 metal slide file, complete with two cheap plastic inserts…

Okay, so I waited to open the box that contained the metal slide file I had purchased because I did not feel the need to do so until I was ready to transfer all of the tug slides. I did not question what I felt was a sound investment. And now I have few words (which is rare for me)…
Why would someone spend over $70 on a metal case with thin, flimsy plastic inserts?! And it is the kind of plastic that you find in a packages of hostess cupcakes. For real. How did I miss that detail the reviews I read through online? And why would the people at Logan think that would be okay?
I admit that I am always learning how to approach life differently. In my mind, it’s Lenny’s things and I wanted them stored properly. And the case is small and compact with a handle and all. My heart was in the right place. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Lenny’s storage equipment gets the job done. I’m just gonna leave things as they are. The slides just won’t all be in one place.
But there’s good news and good news so I’ll start with the good news. I can return the piece of junk for a full refund. And then the good news is that I don’t have to spend time moving slides around and re-re-organizing things.
After inspecting my list from the other day, I have decided that my next move is to start locating the exact slides that Lenny printed out and placed in his binder for each chapter. I will place them into corresponding chapter folders on my laptop. I think this will help me feel as though I am moving on to another stage of the project.
