Sharp & In Motion

The more I look at Lenny’s photos, the more I come to appreciate two things: 1. How he harnessed natural light, and 2. how mighty and full of character these relatively little tugs were. I wonder where these guys and gals are now. Are they all in a tug graveyard, as Lenny predicted or might I see a few of them still tug tugging away on the rough waters, gliding and guiding the big boats along?

Some of the shots he took have me feeling like I am right there on the boat, but up top like a sea gull, like part of nature observing these powerful machines that somehow seem alive on the water.
