Incompleteness…

I am really beginning to sense the incompleteness of the project as I move through each chapter. Chapter Six is great, conceptually…but Lenny only included four photos and only one of them is striking to me. I feel like I am going to be selecting images to add, or perhaps I will add an “Afterword” with some of my favorite images. Lenny took some abstract shots of parts of tugs and I think that they are definitely worth sharing.

I have started marking favorites as I scroll and re-scroll through hundreds and hundreds of images…

I have to admit that that (the number of images) has become a thing.

And there’s this one photo of a red tug that is so bright that it should be easily noticed, and yet it eludes me! For now, I am assuming it is maybe elsewhere (among the boxes in my parents’ garage) but I may have to come to the realization that it is “lost.” I really want to stay true to the narrative that Lenny created.
