Easing into things

I intend to stick to my word. I took time, albeit toward the end of March 12th, to read the two articles I found online about how to create a (photo) book proposal. From it, I was able to establish a framework (list of sections) and a format (word doc & then save it as a PDF). Some of the work has been “done” for me but most of it will take effort. As relatively brief as the proposal should (and will) be, the writing needs to be direct and clear, as much as it must be succinct. What I am concerned about is the portion where I will have to speak to audience and relevance. I know how relevant it is to be personally but this whole “how is it marketable?”, “why does it matter?” piece - making an argument for a work that was produced 30 years ago…it may be a “tough sell.” All I can do is my best. If I end up self publishing, I just have to make sure it is the best quality it can be. Lenny and Jan deserve no less.
