Potential Publishers

Today was a low-key day. I dug up my list of potential publishers and narrowed them down to those who specialized in books on photography/the arts. I noticed at least a couple of international publishers, one of them based in Germany so I got practice my reading skills a little.
I became overwhelmed quite quickly, as I skimmed through the various submission guidelines. But one publisher was pretty clear and straight forward, stating that they will accept book project proposals in digital form, as a PDF, via email. I can do that, right? I just need to figure out exactly what a photo book proposal is supposed to look like.
All in all, I found these two useful resources that I hope to spend some time looking over:
I think I might try my hand at creating the photo book proposal and sending it to that one publisher before pouring over the more tedious submission guidelines of the other publishers. Well, at the very least, I will learn more about the publishing industry. But so far, I am not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling.
